We specialize in the repair and restoration of Moeller drums. Here is one of our more challenging works:

When the drum came in it wasn't much more than a pile of splinters. In the summer of '97, a priceless Moeller snare drum was run over by a bus after a parade. It was brought to the shop, not much more than a pile of splinters, to be used for parts on other Moeller drums. The owner resigned himself to the fact that his precious Moeller drum was gone forever.

Over the next 7 months, the shell was painstakingly put together, piece by piece. After more than 180 hours of work, the shell was finally back together in Feb. '98.

Completely restored, the drum has returned to the playing line. In March, the shell was refinished, a new snare hoop was made, hardware was put back on and the drum was completely restored and returned to its owner.
